Marquette Farmer & Businessman Jack Cummings to Run for 42nd District Assemblyman
July 6, 2010
In the last days of May, Jack Cummings announced he’s running for the state assembly. The third-generation Marquette native plans to represent Wisconsin’s 42nd District as one of its own, standing up for the citizens of Wisconsin as the state emerges from its economic doldrums.
Cummings is motivated by his urge to serve his neighbors. “I keep telling myself that if I don’t fix what’s broken, living in Wisconsin isn’t going to get better. Reduced taxes will make the cost of living more affordable. Less red tape will make running a business easier, so folks can get work done. Lower taxes and fewer forms mean more people will be able to find a job. That means more money goes home. Every family in Wisconsin will benefit from that.” [more] |
